Cost free to attract, then make endless money. People themself looks like having many, the whales, too much money to afford pay to win.
Others unlike the whales just can play for fun without spending much or only few money. I made debts only in the fkk mobile games, which i cannot pay off anymore. I have about 4667 euro debts. Monthly rate is over 140 euro now, and interest charge rate being about 80 euro from it. I made the debts in 3 years of playing this and that fkk game. Lol. Just paying the minium monthly rate wont get me off the debt. I have to pay monthly much more than the minimum rate. But i dont have the money. Even the 145 euro monthly now is a bit too much for me. I heard insolvency is the way to go. So i have to go insolvent, but i think its not much better then. The debt is in the credit bank, who gave me a cost free credit card 3 years ago.

I've never jumped int othe mobile market, it does seem like a gambling market to me. There hasn't been much that appealsto me either and really I hope it stays that way as I don't want anything to do with it. I know NieR had a title which is canon to the series calle Re:Incarnation. This upsets me as I would like try it and not have to just watch it online. Another examp[le was with Alien Isolation, a brilliant console game which got a sequel on mobile... yes, canon to the story and nothing has been done with t he 'Isolation' saga since.

It's a problem I have also noticed within kids toys now too. It seems like most of they have a series of toys that change via seasons and a lot of the time you can't even see what toy your going to get! I can understand the mystery in a pack of Pokemon cards but some of these 'Mystery' toys are £20+ and I think for that price your can't exactly take a gamble on.

But as a market, it is only going to keep on thriving, 'Everyone' has a mobile phone in our generation so it is a market to exploit - and so they do.

Yepp, gambling or gacha is one mechanism used to exploit money, as much as possible. Other games simply offer items, diamonds etc to make players faster grow to beat others in competition. It brings satisfaction to be in top ten rather than bummling around in the low places on the top list. Nier also needs to produce mass of characters to get the right heroes. 99,9999 percent of all mobile games operate that way. Mostly from china, then south asia, but nowadays from all around the world. Every developer sees the profit they can make in it. More than enough whales to do pay to win gaming.

So it was my own failure to make the debt. But afterwards one is always wiser than before. But the damage is done already and i have to live with it.

Bumped to Mobile Games section.
