Nintendo Fire Emblem Series

Fire Emblem

Who else plays Fire Emblem here? Well, I do, and I just had some of the worst luck ever. I was on Chapter 8, "It's a Trap!" and I was fighting Tirado, a general. Ephraim has him down to about 12 HP, and he gets a freaking critical, which would have done 70+ Damage. But the dang General ability kicks in and goes, "SORRY, NOT THIS TURN" and then he has to kill him the next turn. But Tirado goes and slaps him around with his Silver Lance and rapes Ephraim. Game Over...

Dang, I have some bad luck.

rofl.....first off i want to say Fire Emblem rules!!!!

That really sucks man...i remeber i was playing Fire Emblem 7 on hard on Eliwood's story. I was on chapter 16x doing the arena......i had everyone leveled up including my Raven who was a hero i was using to get extra money....i fought a druid (what you have to realize is that i had killed druids before, and was easily faster than them and i could attack them twice without a problem) but with this druid, for some reason i couldnt attack twice and before i could yield, he got me. Hours of getting money and leveling Raven seemed wasted. But i was just like screw it and went on with the rest of the game.

I have played Fire Emblem on the GBA and it is by far one of my favourite games of all time. Rumour has it that I am getting a Wii for Christmas, and I also noticed the FE game for the Wii in my local Gamestation. It looks like I might be turning into a bit of a hermit after Xmas if it all goes my way

In sacred stones, you can fight monsters between chapters as much as you want. It really ends up making the game way to easy.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?! Leveling...makes things...EASIER!?!? STOP THE PRESSES!! We've got the RPG secret of the century here! ;))

Anyways, I'd only played those two English-translated GBA FE games dubbed "Fire Emblem" (as if they didn't think we'd like it & want any more so they gave one of the middle games the series name w/o a subtitle or anything) & Fire Emblem & the Sacred Stones...before Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon came out...It's pretty freakin good times. Whenever it comes out wherever you are (it's already in PAL you freaky Europeans, you beat NA to the punch for once, you should be proud...celebrate by buying it!) you should buy it so that maybe they'll give us the other hoard of FE games that never got English translations.

i'll admit the gameplay is very addicting but i kinda hate it as well just cuz i hate when my units die =(. Also i thought the characters sucked but that's just my opinion. i'd give it a 6/10

I've played all the translated ones and have recently purchased Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon it is good so far the main character is Marth and i don't remember what this is suppose to be a remake of or if it is suppose to be . I'm in chapter 8 so far and its pretty good.
My favorite classes were the General and Berserker
I don't like how they've done the generals they us bows and lances
i still own Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn, and both GBA versions

I have too played all of the translated games and they are :awesome: My favorite one is PoR for the gamecube. Ike is one of the best heroes in the series in my opinion and i hope in radiant dawn he becomes stronger. All the games i've played all seem awesome and i hope the series continues to thrive I plan to buy radiant dawn soon, so i will get to see how all the characters have changed since path of radiance

OK, I finally beat Rekka no Ken a few months ago (I'm so slow, ignore me) and I bought Shadow Dragon. I love it! I read that some people complained because the game isn't as "flashy" with magic and attacks as Rekka no Ken and Sacred Stones, but since it's a remake of the first game I guess they wanted to keep it simple. It's a nice touch.
