Final Fantasy's religious themes - should one be offended?

I don't see why someone should or would be offended by religious themes in these games. Obviously, FFX stands out the most, and FFXII has a bit of of it too but more on the side of political strife.

Its no secret that religious organisations control their following and brand things as sins or forbidden, all you have to do is look at judaism, christianity (in particular the vatican) and islam to see whats forbidden and over the course of history, the punishments for disobeying.

Video games are about entertainment, but obviously RPGs will take it a step further and explore politican and religious themes.
 
[FONT=&quot]Whoever begin with playing a Final Fantasy in the first place is normally someone open minded, why would they be offended? And actually FF’s in general tend to be vague in religions, hard to assimilate to true world's religion.[/FONT]
