Final Fantasy XIV Close Beta in September?

Yes! It’s a rumor. We’ve all heard about Final Fantasy XIV Online, the “bomb” that was presented by Square Enix in the latest E3 Press Conferences, and it’s impossible for testing or going beta so soon. However, we have two clear reasons to believe in this rumor:

1. The game is planned to appear in 2010, and it makes the rumor more reliable because the developer has been working approximately for five years.


2. The most important thing in this “shocked” rumor is the recruitment list in one of Square Enix LTD.’s branch. They’re now need two positions as Game Master and Tester which was experienced in Final Fantasy XI. If the new GMs and Tester are recruit, there will be more members who change their work to another game online project, such as Final Fantasy XIV. Base on the recruitment scheme, the GMs can start working in September.

With all the informations provided above, we may hope in the rumor. Final Fantasy XIV is the game online which hundreds of millions of gamers are waiting for. So that we should hope this rumor will come true!

First four words sum the news up. Yes! It's a rumour.
I very much doubt that there'll be a closed beta in September considering it wasn't announced all that long ago, the earliest you'll probably see a beta is around December.
