Final Fantasy XIII midnight launch in images, video

Final Fantasy XIII launched in Japan a little over four hours ago. Signing onto the PlayStation Network on my account shows my Japanese friend with a little game icon and Final Fantasy XIII under his name. For the past four hours, he’s been playing. It makes me a bit sad inside that it’s not me. I’ll stop, I’m going to go completely off topic.

Even Im not mad enough to queue outside, Id just pre-order it off Amazon like I did with Crisis Core xD

Id have to say though, Id be totally green with envy seeing people playing it right now

I wouldn't be too interested in waiting outside on a freezing winter's night either no matter what game I am anticipating. There doesn't seem to be as much late shoppers as I thought judging from these screens.

It's still a lot of shoppers though. Have fun guys with FFXIII- we won't be waiting long ourselves!

If my work place are doing a midnight launch, Im tempted to work and dress up as Selphie Even if I wasnt working, I still may pester a mate to drive me up and grab my copy

Then again, Id be scared of the dicks at Microsoft banning me because I played it at 12:01 like they did with my mates when they got MW2.
