Looking on the S-E website I've seen the listing for an upcoming Final Fantasy VII Ultimania Guide:
Packed with art and visual reference materials used during development of the game, this deluxe, hardcover volume is a must-have for fans of hit video game Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Final Fantasy VII Remake: Material Ultimania presents a comprehensive collection of production and CG art assets, including character models and illustrations, locations and backgrounds, accessories, weapons, enemies, and more, all accompanied by staff commentary. This volume also includes detailed costume references, cutscene storyboards, song liner notes from the sound staff, and Q & A interviews with the Japanese voice actors.

At over 300 pages, this full-color, jacketed, hardcover book is a visual tribute to the stunning new rendition of one of the most beloved RPGs of all time.

Considering this is advertised on the UK/EU & USA Website I think it is safe to consider this is translated? Another listing seems to confirm this!:

How exciting! I hope this is a new standard as I have always wanted to gather these - if Studio Bentstuff or Dark Horse want to translate previous releases still I would be all for it! Still, this is a great step forward to getting these wonderful FF Encylopedias!

I learned about this the other day and meant to post it here.

It is legit! The Material Ultimania is being translated into English and is available now for pre-order. It is on Amazon as well, just in case people prefer that route.

Definitely a good sign. I really, really hope that the other Ultimanias receive official translations. So far we have the Ultimania Archives and the Encyclopaedia Eorzeas, but I would love the in-depth FFVII Ultimanias, and others. Relying on fan translations (which involves a certain degree of trust) without accompanying scans makes it quite difficult currently. Not speaking Japanese is one of my Achilles' heels right now.

So hopefully this is a sign of a change in this respect.
