Final Fantasy VII-2 Scans

Whoa! I'm not even sure what the hell is this exactly but I had these two magazine scans of Final Fantasy VII-2 (I don't know if it has been confirmed or truly exists) from a very long time... let's say two years ago by now and I have always wanted to post this in here but I keep forgetting about it so now here it is. So what do you think of this, guys? Do you think it's just a made scan by some other random person? Is it fake? Or what...?

Post away and let us hear your thoughts on this. As for myself, I really don't know but all I can say... it's pretty plain fake! And who's that guy who is having a kiss with Tifa in the second scan? Could it be him... Cloud? No way! By looking at the scans again, I think it looks like a movie to me, if you ask me.
 
I think their fakes. Cloud/Tifa on the first page look like low grade action figures from something like my Anime Inside magazines -the little cheap ones. If somone knows how to photoshop soemthign decent enought, they can make it look pretty convincing.

I knew someone in my Film and lLt class that could photoshop VERY well. I don't even know if that's Tifa on the bottom of the second page, or who the heck that other guy is.

If it really were FF VII-2, then they would've had new artwork and tons of sketches, not soem low quality action figures posed and posted together for soem crappy collage with random doodles posted about the page.

Soemthing possibly as good as another FFVII game woudl recieve alot more attention.. just look at Kingdom Hearts. Looka at teh coverage taht one got right off the bat. Now, I'm not the most up-to-date person, but I've never heard of FFVII-2.

That's my opinion.
 
Guys, the man kissing Tifa is Barret!

I don't know if this is fake ... Darkblade said he's had the scans for two years. Maybe these scans were previews to promote a possible story-line for AC, before it was actually developed?

I'm just guessing.

Then why does it write FFVII-2 if it's AC, it's just an opinioon anyways but ill still ask. and i think AC came out in japan in 2003 so the scans were at the time or after AC.

That sounds relistic but I dont think anything like that in the scans happened, Barret and Tifa hardly saw eachother and there they are flirting in the scan....

Believe it or not, I always thought (before I had any sense of knowledge :)) that Tifa was Marlene's mother and Barret was married to Tifa. Because of that, I've always had a thought that Tifa and Barret would end up together, so maybe I wasn't the only one who picked up on this, and this idea was developed into a picture, but became obsolete?

When I had originally started VII. I thought that Tifa was Marlene's protector so to speak and of course Barret as the dad. Later in the game, I discovered I was right about Barret being the dad. I don't know about Tifa yet though.

They seem like a couple to me, since Barret does nothing when she lives with Cloud in AC, and theyre probably just good friends so Tifa let Barret use the bar for his hideout.
 
Meh...fake i believe...i suppose rikus idea could work...n i imediatlt thought tht it was barret as well...n if not a new character perhaps?
 
Maybe they originally planned VII-2 as a game but changed thier mind and made it a movie called advent children
 
Now wait a minute. Since when Tifa is married to Barrett? I don't think they will make a great couple. Don't ask why. It's just that... they don't really suit together...
