On this run through, I am just about to end disc two and have already surpassed the twelve hour mark. This means I can not get Steiners Ultimate Weapon. I have heard that he has another decent weapon. Where do I find this and how good is it compared to the Excalibur :vivi:2?
 
Im SURE you can get one from digging up chocographs...... ooh actually. I think you can get the Ragnarok by diving in some bubbles in the sea, Im sure thats one of Steiners best weapons

You need to do the whole chocobo hot and cold side quest though

Its loads of fun but not HALF infuriating....

Ive not played it for a while so the memories abit fuzzy

not really, the attack for Ex 2 is 108 whereas Ragnarok is 87, but it's your best option if you can't get it so....:wacky:
 
hang on am not sure if this is a myth or what but i remember hearing that once you clock over 100 hours opn IX the counter resets to zero, am not sure like people say it works where as othere say is doesn't
 
Nah, taht's a myth, I was planning on trying that myself, but it doesnt work, it takes liek a year or something daft for the clock to reset :wacky:
 
open your ps durng FMV's

You can still get excalibur and Ragnorak which teaches the same skills as Excalibir II. Don't worry if you can't make it t the final dungeon in 12 hours. Excalibur II is just a challange and makes you miss other more special items in the game.
