Final Fantasy III DS Screenshots & Boxart Revealed

Recently Square Enix released a new batch of images for their upcoming DS remake of Final Fantasy III - among these images, the official box art.

The box art shown to the public is (currently) only the US official box art; still no word on whether Japan and European regions will be getting this box art or the traditional logo-on-white. As for the artwork itself, it's a new piece by Final Fantasy veteran Yoshitaka Amano featuring the four main characters of the game in a setting that may be familiar to players of the original version of the game.

The new images on the other hand reveal very little, at least to English speakers - unfortunately they are all in Japanese, so if anyone can translate some of the text it would be much appreciated.

Final Fantasy III DS is set to release in August in Japan and September 12 in North America.
 
Ah, I've seen the Box Art already on another forum. I'm glad they decided to put on Amano's artwork on the cover, though. He has beautiful artistic ability.

But yeah, I'm pretty much out of the loop, since I had no idea you could have 4 members in a team with this game. :lol: I hope that I'll be able to get it after I get my DS for Christmas.
 
Another well done masterpiece by Amano. I'm pretty sure that Japan and maybe Europe will get the traditional logo on white. Since it has Wi-Fi this is definately the RPG the DS needs.
 
I saw the box art all ready. It looks good. And the screenshots also look good. If I had a DS, I would buy this.
 
Another thing I want to add. I didn't know the original FF3 had characters in it. An actual cast of characters. Who knew.
 
It looks really cool!
Apart from Tactics which was never released in UK, this is the only FF I do not own and haven't played. So I must get this. Like, immediately.
And because the DS is region free I can just import it from the US when it gets a release there, wooHOO.
