I haven't played a Final Fantasy game since FFX.

I didn't like FFX... and it turned me off the franchise ever since.

I thought Seymour was a rainbow lollypop waving, lisping homosexual in bathwear drag.. who only wanted to marry Yuna because he wanted to cast aspersions about himself being a homosexual far away... so he could breathe more easily in his closet.

I recall that Seymour didn't even want to consummate with Yuna after the wedding ceremony...Gay!!!

I honestly though Sin was a gargantuan flying black willy.

I thought Square had hired Boy George to create Tidus; the yellow outfight clad, blonde, high-pitch voiced metrosexual hero who pranced around from flower field to flower field.

And before you say it.... it is not that I hate homosexuals and their culture... It is just that I feel that it doesn't work in games... for too many reasons to numerous to put down..

I truly had wanted to give the franshise another go... I wanted to see what it had to offer... because in a way... I miss the FF experience.

But in my search on the net to find a reason to give Final Fantasy another chance... I was very disappointed to find this VVV

And so this ^^^ is meant to be the new FF main character.. I gather?

Yeah. I would expect this kind of illustration to hanging on one of Tom Cruise's bedside walls in the form of a large sized poster.

To think that I used to love Final Fantasy games once... a lot... before it began to make no sense to me... before it became a virtual Mardi Gras.

All I want to ask is...

Where have I gone wrong?

Did I miss something said, published, hinted about what the FF series is meant to be all about?

Why has my favorite franchise of gaming gone so wrong?

What don't I get?

:omg:

This is an Final Fantasy Forum, if you don't like it or wanna bitch about it, or moan about how "gay" the series is, go elsewhere.
