"Fated Children" would technically be Līberī fātī in Latin, not Līberī fātālī.

The Latin word fātālis [this is its dictionary form, before the adjective gets inflected for case, number, and gender] actually has a dual meaning: fatal/deadly and predestined. This is likely a conscious play on words, given both the role of SeeD as mercenaries and the time loop motifs in the plot.

I like your version of the song. It sounds almost like a MIDI rendition of the theme that Squaresoft conceivably would have produced back in the day.
