Alright, so i'm at the end of the game now, i'm able to deal with Mr. B, that's not the problem, really.

It's Orphan :mokken: I can barely deal 200000 damage before it kills me or I just give up on sheer boredom of how tedius the fight gets :hmmm:

Right now my character's stats are as follows:

Lightning
HP 7135
Strength 1636
Magic 1192
Weapon: Ultima Weapon Lv. 21
Accessories: Power Glove Lv. 1, Power Glove *, Gold Bangle Lv. 2

Hope
HP 5090
Strength 760
Magic 1708
Weapon: Otshirvani Lv. 1
Accessories: Sorcerer's Mark Lv. 1, Sorcerer's Mark Lv. 6, Shaman's Mark Lv. 1

Fang
HP 7740
Strength 1520
Magic 855
Weapon: Punisher Lv. 1
Accessories: Brawler's Wristband Lv. 1, Platinum Bangle Lv 3, Connoisseur Catalog Lv 1

The Paradigms I currently use are:

Tri Disaster (Ravager, Ravager, Ravager)
Aggression (Commando, Ravager, Commando)
Combat Clinic (Medic, Medic, Sentinel)
Guerilla (Ravager, Synergist, Saboteur)
Discretion (Medic, Medic, Commando)
Protection (Medic, Synergist, Sentinel)

My general strategy is start with protection till I have all the buffs, then switch to Aggression for 2 rounds so Lightning and Fang can slow the stagger drop, then switch to Tri Disaster to stagger it, all the while switching to Combat Clinic whenever i'm injured before reverting back to what I was doing. After staggering I go to Aggression again and let Lightning and Fang let rip.

However, this generally ends up failing me anyway, normally from death spells, any strategies or general advice for beating this thing? :gasp:

Damon :D

You want to have a Saboteur, Synergist and Medic at the start. This allows you to buff yourself whilst debuffing him. Then despite whatever you may want to do, HIT HIM LOTS. Use Relentless Assault instead of Tri-Disaster as your gauge will not drop as quickly allowing for you to hit that magic stagger number of what... 500%?

Only heal when you absolutely need to, and for this I would suggest Combat Clinic as it offers protection for your healers whilst you get everyone back up and going. Make sure you spend as little time on this as possible as you must keep that chain gauge as high as you can. Also, once he's staggered don't switch to aggression right away, get the cahin a bit closer to 999% before moving across to the other paradigm as your bonus will increase a lot more slowly.

Also, the moment you see one of the dark/ light messages switch IMMEDIATELY to combat clinic as this will allow you to get your health back up the instant you regain control. After you're back to health continue fighting with the same technique as above, which may seem odd, but trust me staggering this guy and killing him quickly is definitely the best if not the only way to kill him.

Also, buy 3 Cherub's crowns for Lightning, this will give her a 66% resistance to dying instantly which you will NEED. As per usuaul make sure you have 5 TP to allow you dispelga once he does horrible things to you, but try to avoid re-buffing yourself unless you have staggered him, or you will lose everything you've put into the chain gauge.

Just a side note, the judgement spell will not kill you, but anything he does immediately afterwards can, which is why I said to jump to combat clinic the moment you see the first message.

Other than that there's not a lot I can think of and I hope this helps you out a bit.

Good Luck.

You will definitly need at least one cherub crown on ur leader. Twenty sided die is a nice one since it has the chance to randomly nullify any dmg.

Your stats are fine, I beat Orphan with just as good, maybe better stats.

Make sure you have the following:
Combat Clinic (MED/SEN/MED)
Evened Odds (MED/SAB/SYN) *
Relentless Assault(RAV/COM/RAV) **
Aggression(COM/COM/RAV) **
Delta Attack (COM/SEN/RAV) ***
*- Start with this one
**- Just as a note, you should always have these paradigms for nearly every battle you have, except ones where you always need a sentinel.
***- Just always have this, just in case

And that's all that you really NEED. The last one is up to you.

Now, start off with Evened Odds, and watch the buffs and debuffs rack up. I had Lightning have a Tetradic Crown, so she started off with a good amount of buffs, but whatever suits you. Now, Orphan is going to start off with his super-attack, so get ready to switch to Combat Clinic pretty quickly. It may even be just as effective to start out on Combat Clinic. Again, whatever works for you. You'll heal up pretty quickly, so go back to Evened Odds. Once you find that Orphan has 3-4 debuffs and your party has ~4 buffs each, switch to Relentless Assault. Mind you, you will have to switch to Combat Clinic A LOT in this battle, but it will only be for a few seconds. The chain gauge shouldn't drop quickly enough for it to empty.

Once staggered, go full blast with Aggression. You should get Orphan's health to less than half. Rinse and repeat, although note that Orphan will use his super-attack again, so be prepared to go to Combat Clinic. Also, you may need to rebuff and debuff again, so go to Evened Odds if need be.

I always put Delta Attack in there as a precaution, although I don't think I actually used it, so, once more, whatever works for you.
