FFXIII Preorder in Canada?

Have you tried going into your local game store and asked if you could? -You can even call them too.When will this game be available in Canada for pre-order? I see all the websites such as Gamestop saying its only available in US. I WANT TO PRE ORDER >
I suppose it's completely down to the retailers in Canada, over here in the UK we can preorder it from GAME, America has Gamestop and Japan have had their stores. If it were me I would go to the game store that I normally go to for games, and ask them if they have it for pre-order. There's always Amazon (http://www.amazon.ca/ in your case) but if you don't like ordering online, just find a local store and take a look. I know at my GameStop they already have the fake boxes out for FFXIII. Like Ryan said, there's different stores for different countries.
Us Canadians have EB Games, but it's the same company as Gamestop or something.
Anyways, I recently called my local EB Games and the store I called said they were taking pre-orders now.
Although I admit for a game that's still almost 3 months away, I'm gonna wait a bit *shrugs*

Yes, EB Games... I'll go take a look at their website. Do they have EB Games in US too? Because I went to EB Games.com and saw FFXIII available for preorder... only in US. Sooo I'll go see if a '.ca' exists or something.
Edit: Oh you are so lucky you US people =.= I have to buy it for $69.99 apparently. And it has no info or image available so I will just wait. WHY DO YOU HAVE IT BETTER THAN US?! T-T

Ugh, Canada never seems to get any good promotions when it comes to Square-Enix games. I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't even get the reversible cover for friggin' Dissidia Dx
That said, I was checking out the gamestop.ca website and saw this:
"Bonus book" is pretty vague I admit, but I'd like to think it's a pre-order bonus that otherwise isn't available. Maybe not as awesome as that collector's edition the UKers are getting if they put in the money, but if I get rewarded for buying on day 1, well, I might just do it then.
EDIT: Well, I checked the site again and saw this:
So "Bonus book" has become the more obscure "Bonus item" now
EDIT 2: Okay, I went to an EB Games store in person today and saw the ad for the FFXIII pre-order bonus. Turns out for Canada at least, the pre-order bonus will be a FFXIII Guidebook. I assume it's from BradyGames, but yeah, there you go ;D

I already have this. it's really not that great. All it is is the quickstar guide and walkthrough for the first 3 chapters of the game that you're going to be getting anyways with the full guide. Except this free one is in miniature form and very hard to read.

But seriously, I already expected it to be pretty measly. It's just a little something to enjoy for buying a game I had been planning to buy all along, so it made a little happy *shrugs*

They gave it to me when I pre-ordered the game. Didn't mean to rain on your parade. I'm sorry, I just didn't you to think you were getting something super great and then be disappointed when you got it.
Huh, that's so weird. All my pre-order bonuses came with the game when I picked them up

Oh yeah, looks like there will also be a FFXIII poster available for pre-order. Gamestop.ca says it's in limited quantity, so no guarantee you'll get it, but a poster would be nice. Just not sure what it'll feature

Haha, I originally thought it was the Standard Edition Guide myself, but after I saw that image from Gamestop, I knew it wouldn't come close 
But on the plus side (er, sort of) if you buy the guide the same time you buy the game from Gamestop/EB Games, I heard they'll give you a discount on the guide. I'm thinking about doing that
