Help FFXIII: How To Get The Limit Breaker Trophy/Achievement

People seem to think is achievement is impossible, whereas, if you use your head its pretty simple, quite simply, have either, Hope, Vanille or Fang in your party as leader (easiest done with Fang), get into a battle with an enemy with say, more than 500k health and make sure you use Deceptisol so its easily staggered.​

Once in the battle, stagger the enemy, then very quickly Summon the Eidolon, I summoned Fang's Eidolon, keep hitting until your Gestalt bar goes up, it goes up VERY fast for Fang if she is a commando, once completely full, enter gestalt mode and use your Level 3 Finishing move (Y or Triangle)

I can't stress enough how important it is, to make sure your Gestalt bar is full before entering gestalt mode so you can do your level 3 attack..​

This should easily inflict 100k of Damage in one hit.​

Note: The achievement/trophy doesn't pop until the battle is complete.

It's not guaranteed to do it, however I've done it once or twice with Hope's Eidolon

After Ch.11/12 ish, if you get a level 3 ending attack with Fang's Eidolon, its pretty much guaranteed to do more than 100k.

Not too familiar with the different "levels" of attacks, so do they come with using the Eidolon more often?

If you get your Gestalt Bar up to full before going into Gestalt mode, it will be level 3.

Oh, okay. I thought I was screwed for a second, because I never use the Eidolons.

Well, seems easy enough. I've already hit 45,000 without Eidolons, even if was using the Smite skill....

It's actually quite easy...

1. Find an adamantoise ON PULSE (this is so you get two trophies at once)
2. Set your battle team to Vanille, Fang and anybody you like
3. Set your active paradigm to Sab,Sab and anything (he/she won't play a part)
4. In the battle, summon your eidolon immediately (it will take care of the legs)
5. Use the eidolon's gestalt mode right after the adamantoise collapses (it doesn't matter if the guage is low)
6. Immediately use the final move (Triangle or Y)
7. Keep debuffing with fang and Vanille
8. When you get as many debuffs on it as possible, keep spamming Vanille's Death ability (the other buffs increase success rate)

This only works because death is instant kill, meaning you just did several million (maybe billion, i'm not sure) damage. By doing this on Pulse, you get the limit breaker trophy AND the one where you slay a heavyweight of Pulse

I forgot to say, if it rises up again, restart the match, it will be faster and easier

I have no clue how I got this shit. I was fighting the Proudclad round 2 and it popped up. No summon. No Genji Glove. No clue.

I need to double check what I'm hitting for. I could swear it's easily over 9,999 for commando's, especially with en-[element] on.
