So I am in my second walk through the game and I want to get all trophies.

I am mostly worried about the L'Cie Paragon Trophy which needs you to complete all missions with a five star post battle rating
Now trying to do the compulsory missions at Taejin's Tower. Gelatitan is already giving me a hard time.

I am using an almost fully developed party of Light, Fang and Hope (without their secondary roles of course). And gave them some Warrior's Wristbands and Sorcerer's Marks. Is this good? I mean when I read the "Post Battle Ratings" section (I am using the Piggyback guide) it doesn't mention it, but the Trophies section says "...use weapons with low Strength and Magic attributes, as stat upgrades provided my equipment are taken into account to determine your Target Time."
My strategy is to use Libra while I soften it up with Aggression, then switch between Relentless Assault and Mystic Tower until I stagger it (making 1 or 2 visits to Combat Clinic) and defeat it with Aggression. I also use a Fortisol before battle.

If someone were to suggest an alternative I could at least try it out.
Please help me, I am really stuck :sad3:

I can't remember if you can get a pre-emp strike with Deceptisol on this guy, but I remember getting 5 stars when I used Quake and had everybody attack him with lighting. Don't use water attacks, but I'd debuff him with imperil then go to tri disaster for lightning if a Deceptisol is not an option.

The best thing you can do to get 5 stars on these is use weapons and accessories that you have NOT upgraded AT ALL. You can also equip a gold watch(which you get by beating mission 64) and that will almost guarantee a 5 star rating as long as you're trying.

For Gelatitan you will most definitely need a Deceptisol. Without a Preemptive Strike, you'll find it more or less impossible for a well-developed party to get 5 stars. There are a few hunts that have stupidly low Target Times, and this is one of them.

You strategy for fighting it is sound...honestly you could probably get away with Relentless Assault and/or Cerberus and just pound it until it's dead. Seeing as how the key to this battle is speed, using a Fortisol can only save time.

If you continue to have trouble, there are a few ways to give yourself more time. Equip Lv.1 weapons, since the Target Time is formulated based on how long, in theory, the battle should take. So, the "weaker" you are, the more time you have. The best way to get more time is to wait until you've fought Vercingetorix and equip the Gold Watch. Honestly, there were a few Missions that I think were nigh impossible to 5-star until I had the Gold Watch.

Hope that helps. :monster:
