Has anyone else come up against these yet? They're immensely annoying as they keep healing each other for more damage than I can deal ... the only way I beat them previously was by summoning Odin, but now I can't because I don't have enough action points to summon him =/ So I'm really stuck.

I'm playing as Lightning and Hope in the sewer place with that
food production Fal'Cie
. Can anyone help me with some tactics on how to kill them? Three on two isn't fun =[

Edit:
What the hell? Within seconds of posting this I systematically DESTROY the Flanitors ... I was hoping to die and start again when Lightning auto-used Blitz a few times and Staggered the Flanitors. Seems like it works wonders against them ... Never mind me =P Lock the thread or whatever now, I sorted it myself.

Well, their weakness is fire, if that helps situations.

Also, I tend to start off with a commando & ravager combo, moving to ravager and ravager. This makes them (and most other enemies) really easy to stagger, because the commando really decreases how quickly that chain gauge decreases. You stagger them, and you'll deal damage quicker than they can heal each other.

This should work. Just reply if it doesn't.

EDIT: Nevermind, you seem to have found your own thing.

i pretty much always start with a back attack. so it easy kill them in seconds.
back attacks make a giant differents.

uh plus i upgraded light gladuise sword to lvl 7 and both rings for str to max lvl so well i own them easy.

Slash and burn is an amazing combo against these once you have used Libra on them as Hope will automatically hit them with what they are weak to and Lightning being used as a commando will prevent your Chain from dropping quickly.

Also it might be useful to have a Medic + Synergist Paradigm set up for quick healing and buffs every now and then, but judge how much damage your enemies do to you and don't leave it to late.

With that you should be fine :D

Oh, it took me a while to figure out a decent strategy but basically try to concentrate on damaging just one of them at a time, rather than fighting all 3 separately (if you have 3 commandos or something, of course).
The best way is to probably have a Synergist to buff up your battle team with one of your party members in an offensive mode. Use that to deal out damage to one of them.
Then when they start healing, just switch all 3 to offensive modes (preferably something like Rav/Rav/Com so that only one will be targeted at a time), then wreak havoc on them. They won't stop trying to heal each other, eventually one will stagger and it will be an easy kill.
