Help FFXII-2: Royal Ripeness

There is this large tomato-like monster at the start of Episode 3 (I think) that is decimating my party, and I don't know how to defeat this monstrosity of spaghetti sauce, any help will be appreciated!!

Have a Sentinel, possibly two in your party. Switch to the paradigm that has them when he is winding up to attack. Sentinels not only help absorb blows from enemies, they also reduce the amount of damage your whole party takes. You could possibly go Sen, Sen, Med if you are really worried about dying.

Eh, I just went in with a Commando, Ravager and Medic combo and hammered the shit out of it.
