...is pretty much the tightest Final Fantasy out there right now. Even though it costs 10 bucks a month, I still think its an awsome game and it's totally worth it. a wonderful expiriance. It is very different than the other final fantasys though. But i love the fact that its online only. supposibly FFXII is going to be just like it exept it doesnt cost 10 bucks a month and its not online...If u guys ever wanna do a Party on FFXI together with me just message me up and tell me your profile name (if ur current nation is Bastok):D

Final Fantasy XII won't be just like Final Fantasy XI for the very reasons you just stated. It'll be like all of the previous games; offline and no monthly cost. As for partying with you, one will not only be required to be around the same area as you, assuming you're lower-leveled, but they will also need to be on the same server as you; note that there are roughly 35-40 servers.

As for the game being the best of the Final Fantasy games, I can't agree with you. It may be a nice new turn to put it only and allow people to play together, but the storylines and gameplay aren't really better. I'd prefer the Final Fantasy VII style or Final Fantasy V gameplay. Much better storylines and definitely a lot easier to advance in the game. If Final Fantasy XI's grind wasn't so incredibly horrible, I might give the game a few more points.

do you have to pay £10 a month for every single month you have the game? even if you stop playing on it?

You play as long as you pay, so you have to buy the game first and then pay £10 every month, i think it comes with a free month, so if you decide to stop playing, dont pay and you wont and cant play..... simple
