FFX Glitch

I have just discovered a really annoying glitch, annoying because it means I’ll have to start the game over! Just after I defeat Yunalesca I come outside the Dome and absolutely nothing happens! I can’t get back inside and the next sequence where it would normally pan left to reveal Sin does not occur.

I can run about the screen but I cannot access my inventory or even pause the game. I tried a soft reset and reloaded countless times but the game is completely stuck.

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this?

Well, well, well that was weird! I decided to start the game again and when I put it in it wouldn’t work, blank screen!

So I cleaned it with a baby wipe, dried it and stuck it in again and guess what… the glitch didn’t happen this time! Either that or those wipes are amazing!

Seems it was directly related to the disc…

yeah sometimes if you have a damaged disc itll skip over parts. my disc for DBZ tenkaichi 3 had as mark on it that made it skip all the cutscenes between battles, until i cleaned it.

I'm glad you got it resolved! I was so upset when mine glitched. I remember specifically where too. I have since gotten a new copy of course but in the scene where you meet with Seymour at Gaudosalam and he asks Yuna to marry him. As you're flying through Dream Zanarkand my game would freeze. I was so angry! I had a friend let me borrow his memory card so I could just skip it since I had beaten the game before. I did spend days just fighting the monsters on the road directly outside Gaudosalam though.. I must've had 99 of every item you could steal from any of those monsters
