Help [FFX-2] Trapped in Sleep :P

Heya everyone!

I've gotten myself into a little predicament in FFX-2. I was out in little ol' Lake Macalania and was farming some gems when all of a sudden Yuna and Rikku get put into sleep and before I could do anything with Paine she ends up in sleep mode as well The only fiend left is the Yellow Machina satellite thingy (descriptive, eh?) and he refuses to wake the girls up. Paine died from his Bio but Yuna and Rikku have Star Pendants on so they are trapped in an eternal sleep.

Anyway, do y'all think there is any possibilty of the two ever waking up? Or will I have to restart the game and lose my precious gems and experience T.T

And, I think if the boss attacks you, it should wake you up, right? Physical and Magical attacks normally wake up sleeping people...but at the same time, I think they wake up on their own eventually.

I think this fiend has no physical attacks. So far (in the last 15 minutes as this battle has been going on) he has only cast Bio, Slow, and Sleep. Poison has no effect on them because of the Pendants and they don't seem to be able to get out of sleep at all >.<

Magical attacks won't wake them up, physical attacks will - this is the same for all FFs.

I'm not sure on the specific details of sleep in FFX-2. However, IIRC, the machina you described, if you take too long to kill it, just runs away.

Hmm, interesting. A rather amusing situation. I'm guessing restart if by now they haven't woken up. Usually, keyword being usually, your characters will wake at random times if not from a physical attack. My suggestion is to restart, and hopefully you don't run into this problem again.
