Help [FFX-2] Help with YunaLesca

O'akka moved location, and I do not know where to find him. And I need pheonix downs for the fight with Yunalesca.
 
You might be out of luck on this one...I don't think there are any item shops directly before the Yunalesca battle.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I have a feeling you'll be relying on Life a lot for the battle. D:
 
He or his cousin wantz should be in one of the halls right before Yunalesca, at the side? is he not? I'm pretty sure I stocked up on holy waters/remedies there cos she is gonna curse you baaaaaaad!
 
Hmmm, I don't recall O'aka or Wantz being in Zanarkand at all. The last place I can think of where I saw one of them was at Mt. Gagazet. Wantz is there somewhere, but im not exactly sure where. I want to say that he's at the bottom of the first slope (the screen with the Save Sphere right before Seymour) on the flat land, but it may be the 2nd slope or the next screen after that. Eihter way, I know he's on a flat part of the land, not a slope.

So unfortunately, you'll have to backtrack a little. Hopefully you'll have enough of the items to make it back to Wantz. I'm guessing you may not have learned Life with Yuna yet, but if you have, then just simply use that, it's more efficient and you won't have to worry about backtracking or your MP (as you can touch a nearby save sphere to Yunalesca and replenish it). Yeah, but I also do not have much MP with Yuna, due to the fact that earlier on I ran out of Mana spheres, and wantz is no longer on Gagazet.
 
You're screwed. Unfortunately.

In the whole game, this is where Square messed up the most. A few days ago I fought Yunalesca on my third playthrough. Unfortunately, I did not stock up on Holy Waters on Mt Gagazet (with Wantz) but I had 60+ Phoenix Down which got me through the fight. How many Holy Waters and Remedies do you have? How many Ethers do you have? Cuz if your Phoenix Down supply is low, Yuna is gonna have to Life everyone and it's quite a lengthy battle. My suggestion is to train until you are mega-overpowered.

No you're not screwed.
The Behemoths on Zanarkand are carrying a good supply of ethers. Stealing from them will get you ethers as common items.

There are teleporter pads in Zanarkand, which you can use to quickly get back and forwards between Zanarkand and Mt Gagazet. One of the Ronsos on Mt Gagazet will sell you Phoenix Downs. You're screwed for Holy Waters, though, although if you can get some Remedies those will cure Zombie too. (I'm not sure if Esuna does or not.)
 
How can i beat yunalesca if her megadeath makes my 3 character instant death help me plz.....

Yeah, I was shocked by that part.

Luckly I had an equipment which guards against Death for Tidus.
If you have at least one: equip it,
If not, try and look if you can add protection against Death to at least one of characters equipment. I don't think you really need more than one character to win (if you can revive the others) but it is still better to have more survivors.


Other way is to try summoning an Aeon.
That way, the party is safe. She uses the attack as soon as she changes into the last form ,though I don't remember whatever she uses the attack only once.
So just summon an Aeon when you think she will change form soon.
You can even try using Aeons since the very beginning.
It takes her a lot of time to kill them since Death don't affect them.
But I still think it better to summons Aeons after you did some damage to her.


I think I used both ways , don't really remember.

I've tried that one with aeon before she changes into last form but...she use megadeath again in the middle of battle hahahah. Maybe i've to looking for Death armor for 1 of my character. Thx for u'r suggestion.

If you haven't tried it yet, try as well spamming Aeons until they all killed at her final form .
You supposed to have at least 5 Aeons (if I recall correctly) and maybe 2 more, so I believe they should be able to bring her to use the MegaDeath twice on them.



Anyway, if you don't find a way to get Death armor and nothing else works, just fight monsters until all Aeons have full Overdrives. Then spam them at Yunalesca's final form with their Overdrives. But still, make sure to let each Aeon to fight until it is killed. It is better to save overdrives for latter if possible :)
 
hmm all aeons with overdrive nice advice maybe ill try that. But if i have a deathproof armor i'll beat Lady yunalesca easily, i dont have the farplane fly to customize the armor... i only have 58 farplane fly ..
