FFVIII too easy?

Really, you haven't beat the game yet? It does have a pretty long ending

Gah, believe it or not, I have not beaten a single FF game to date! I don't know if KH counts, but I haven't beat one yet if not. I believe I was on the 4th disc when I decided FFVIII was getting too difficult. I started over, and am hoping to achieve my goal of beating it sometime soon.

TSG, you beat Omega Weapon? Can you tell me how you did it? My friend had practically everything and couldn't win. I never tried to fight him, but now I might. I have Squall and Zell at 9,999 health and Rinoa at 8,988 or something. I have Auto-Potion on Squall and Zell and am pretty sure I stand a chance, but here's the thing. The game goes by level and increases the health and strength of bosses and monsters by level. So my friend was only level like 20 when he fought him. I'm level 30, but I don't know if I should level up or not, b/c of the "relative" building up of the whole game's monsters, bosses, etc. I don't really see what I'd gain from getting stronger because my attacks do pretty much 9,999 every turn, plus I can just use triple on everyone and use Ultima again and again, or I could use Aura and just use Squall's Limit Break. So basically, is there anything to be gained from leveling up with all that or not? My friend has like the same as me except he also has Squall's Lionheart and he said he lasted three turns or something. Oh and he has Eden and Bahamut and all that. Does the level really count or what because that'd just mean Omega Weapon would have alot more hp?

well you`d be really Naive to think you can beat him with just that he has a special move called Terra Break which does 12000 to each person in your party so it`s a one hit Kill and Auto-Potion is garbage in this battle so I`d advise against it look do this have Squall,Zell, and Irvine all with all best weapons and all their limits but make SURE you have pulse and Ap ammo for Irvine these do 9999 almost always. now when you fight him have two people use aura on Squall and the other one on Irvine now on Squall`s turn just pressing Triangle to switch which character`s turn it is until you get the limit for Squall and hope it`s Lionheart cuz if it is it does around 200,000 to Omega and he has 1,000,000 hp. Then immediatley use a holy war on everybody to get these you must have gotten the Gilgamesh card and transform it into 10 holy wars it uses invincibility on everybody for 3 turns.now when it`s your turn again cast cerberus with Zell or Irvine and with whoever you didn`t use cerberus with except Squall use Haste 3 times on everybody now it`s pretty simple just use limitbreaks and Holy wars till he dies

Unfortunately, no, I haven't beaten him, hence why I said he was the only other challenging opponent. However, I would recommend using the same strategy as above ^^^^^^

I can't remember much about the fight, but I would recommend Eden and Bahamut, immediately followed (or simultaneously used with) a frenzy of Limit Breaks from Squall, Zell and Irvine. I never once used a holy way in my entire experience of FFVIII, maybe that's where I'm going wrong...

Oh yeah and btw kyle Omega`s level is 100 no matter what and I have no god damn idea how you`re at level 30 at that point in the game you`re pretty much screwed

I'll tell you how I survive. I get Diablos' No Encounter ability for most of the game. I use the Mid-Mag and then get the higher one or something and use that until I get to use the Ragnarok. Then I go to the islands of heaven and hell and stock up full on Ultima, Meteor, and Aura, and pretty much everything and I get most of the GF's and make sure I have Abilities equipped to every character slot for every character(as much as I can). Oh and the Spirit part is important b/c it's how fast you go and I had really high spirit. Oh and I had 100 triples too for everyone. :) I don't know, maybe on my new file I should level up but it just seemed so boring because I was already able to kill Ultimecia easily. I'll level up this time and see the difference. The main reason I didn't besides being time consuming, is that my stats were almost maxed out anyways. Strength at level 30 was 215 and max is 255. And I only rarely used physical attacks. It just seemed kinda pointless, but I see what you guys are saying.

Triple Triad

I was hooked on the Triple Triad game......it was a break from the monotonous parts of the game and was put in good parts of the game......funny thing was trying to get Irvine to play.....he says "play cards? I only play with girls" lol:lol: but man this was not totally easy to conquer at times even if you had the strong cards if you played random and you had a rare card on the table and the rest 1's and 2's you were doomed and had to get those cards back.....even with the most powerful cards in the world you were not guarenteed victory ifyou chose random......any other style was easy
