[FFTA2] Better weapons?

Urgh. Is it just me, or do the shops in this game NEVER sell any better weapons?

My Mages are really starting to suck, since they still have just the basic spells. Although the White Mage has Cura, cause I used the bazaar for that staff >_>

So, my question is, do the shops ever naturally get any better weapons in, or do you have to use the bazaar to get in stronger weapons? D=

The shops never sell new weapons over any period time. You need to sell loot in order to unlock new weapons. Some weapons and armour stay in the shop to be re-bought as many times as you like, and some require you to obtain the loot again.

if your following the storyline, and you try to explore and steal as much as possible, eventually you'll come across new spells steadily and new weapons with the loot you sell. as for magicks though, most of them lie within rabanastre, bhujerba, nalbina, balfonheim, and scattered merchants and little shops. it takes some looking though
