FFIX - Question about Ability Points?

Okay so...
Zidane lvl 49, 44 ability points.
Amarant lvl 48, 39 ability points.

Wtf? Does it just depend on the character? Doesn't seem fair, but its possible I guess. Someone enlighten me.

I don't know exactly how this works, but I have heard that after you hit a certain amount of EXP points (not level), your ability points should go up.
This makes sence do to the fact that after you hit lvl 99, you still aquire EXP.

yep its very possible to level ur char to 99 a strategy is needed if you want to level fast

I think the ability points are to do more with the character than the level. They do increase with the levels obv, but i think different characters have different amounts of ability points when on the same level.
