FFIX - Disk 4 lvl up / ap sweet spots?

That's easy.
Vile island (it's the island near the Iifa tree if you don't know it has a mountain and forest). Fight all the Yans you can. 3 of your 4 characters should have virus inflicted, and the other should have the Level Up ability.
In 1 hour that I've been there, Zidane went to lvl 99 (50 lvls up), and I made 2,000,000gil.
 
Yeah Vile Island is probably place #1 to go to, but becareful of the ass-whoopings you could receive from the unfriendly Yans.

When I was still on Disc 4 and needed a boost of EXP and everything, I headed right outside the Danguerro Library waterfall to face red dragons. Occassionally you will face off against those damn Cats who ask for elixirs, but you can easily kill them at that point in the game.
 
Yeah, I remembered Vile Island last night and got a nice big serving of my butt handed to me on a silver platter. I'm trying to figure out how to get virus inflicted on me, so I can go own some grand dragons and get all the exp to one character. But the only way I can think are those damn yans... And they own me. sdhgsbyugh
 
Yans are the best enemies to fight to level up. But if you find yourself having trouble, fight the Grand Dragons on Popo's Heights ( right outside of Gizamalukes Grotto). With Quina's LV 5 death ability, they fall in 1 turn. With the Level up ability equiped, you will get around 12,400 exp per fight.

For AP, the best place to go is the Crystal Valley inside Memoria. You fight all the Chaos Guardians here, and they drop 7 AP each.
