I wouldn't hesitate to change the scene in Damcyan. I mean, seriously, it was without a doubt the worst scene in the game. Edward just watched his home burn to the ground and his girlfriend die by jumping out to protect him. Not only that, but the rest of his family would have died as well. But, according to Rydia and Cecil, he isn't allowed to cry over a traumatic event because he's a man. Cecil slapped him and Rydia just gave him shit for it even though like five minutes ago she summoned an earthquake in a rage that her mother died.
Another irritating aspect of the game was that Cecil tried to kick Rydia and Rosa off the ship because they were female. Edge was also being a jerk about it as well, which is why I'm not really fond of either of them. Kain was the only guy being reasonable about it and tried to defend them, which is part of the reason why I like him so much.
I was also waiting for Edward, Yang, and the others to rejoin the party as I would have liked to have a few of them in my party. However, I was disappointed at the role they served at the end of the game. I'm pretty sure the GBA version lets them come back, though(as I was playing the DS version). Other these issues, though, the game was overall enjoyable and I liked it a lot.
