Don't know if i got the name right, but whatever, it's the area you are transported to when you visit the Crystal Temple in the Moon for the second time, after beating the giant of babil and the four elemental archfiends.

My characters are all lvl 56-60, off the top of my head i believe i left Cecil, Rydia and Rosa at lvl 60 and Kain and Edge at lvl 56/57. I also have NOT used any of the ability items that characters leaving the party leave behind, like the dual cast thing, i know it probably would have made things easier, but i was afraid to use it on the wrong character, so i've been holding back on using them.

I also finally got Bahamut last night, if that helps.

My issues lie in the Lunar Subterranae, fighting most of the monsters is almost impossible, the red mechanical giant is doable for me, but why do i want to fight it? i've done so twice and it's blown up and thus i've wasted time, MP and have gotten nothing in return, the coiled serpents or whatever they are, are impossible for me, i can barely launch an offensive against them because by the time i do, i'm usually already fried by their lightning attacks.

I've tried just fleeing most battles to see the farthest i can get, but the last attempt was cut short by a trap chest i opened and got ambushed by 2 purple skeleton dragons, one of those is doable, but 2? i barely last a minute. Last night i also found a secret passage in the first floor of the area which ended me in a dead end where i found a sword, but again, i was ambushed by a monster i can't even remember and barely last a minute against it.

Anyone got some advice? i'm eager to at the very least get to the end and give it a shot and if possible, finish the game so i can check out the After Years on my Wii, but at this rate, i'm gonna end up storing the game :(

Thanks!

Did some random reading around the forums here and apperantly the advice of lvling up a bit has helped quite a bit.

Last night i finally reached the save point in the dungeon and got all chests (including Muramasa...or was it Murasame? *shrugs* ) except for the one where the Crystal Shield is, anyone got any advice for it? i've tried beating those 2 Blue Dragons several times, even attempted to use Slow on them and while the spell worked, i could swear, they still attack faster than the regular Blue Dragons you face in random battles. Is the shield even worth it tho? i'm thinking of just skipping it....

So far i got all chars between lvls 61 - 63, at least their not dying as often anymore.
