how do you get the ninja class?My friend said it was a secret class unlike the crystal level up thing.

Not really...You get the Ninja class right before the last dungeon of the game.
When you finally take care of things with Doga and Unei, they tell you to go find the Syrcus Tower and finally kill Xande. It shouldn;t be hard to find, since the pathway to it is marked by 8 similar statues. Just pass on through and get over the low mountains (You have to use the Enterprise, by the way). Then, you'll land and enter in the door on the wall around the tower. If you want your jobs immediately, head straight forward and go through the door. You'll notice the music changes to the crystal room theme once you get in.
Keep going and you'll find the Earth Crystal. No boss fight or anything; just talk to it and it'll give you the last few jobs to give you a total of 22...Including the Ninja. Here's what it gives you:
Evoker
Summoner
Sage
Ninja
Devout
Magus
Now...I don't know why the Evoker was given at the same time as the Summoner, seeing that the Summoner is basically the advanced version of the Evopker, but oh well. Anyways, there you have it.
