Okay i was just wondering, in the U.S FFIII released for the SNES, and then for the Playstation in Anthology as FFVI, is it different anywhere else, like is FFIII or FFVI different from each other, for example in the u.k

The snes version was called FFIII, but it was actually FFVI, because not all the games were released outside of Japan until afew years later

The version of FFIII you will see on the DS is the actual FFIII not VI

I well just baffled myself xD

FFIII is an entirely different game to FFVI.

FFIV was originally FFII when it was released for the SNES, and FFVI was originally called FFIII when it was released for SNES.

To make sure you don't get the wrong game, get FFIII for DS, and FFVI for GBA. Both are named correctly, and are entirely independent from each other ^^

true that FF3 for snes is ff6 for ps1 but ps1 did get it right. Also if you plan on getting ff6 you should try for gameboy advanced. It has more to give. Ps1 isn't bad but you'll have to make a choice between a really good sword or a really good esper. ffVIGBA you can get both.

As said above, the FFIII that was released in the U.S on the SNES was actually FFVI (in Japan).

However to answer your question I'm pretty sure that America is the only place that had this. I'm not positive on this, but I don't think FFVI was ever released under the name of FFIII outside of North America.
