I thought that this being a 20th anniversary edition, they would have remade FFI and II in proper 3D but all it looks is slightly updated graphics from the GBA versions (Admittedly, they graphics pretty good) but thought they would have done more for the PSP as we know it could handle it.
Maria looks like a guy when SHES in battle. Just another sign that this game phails. The GBA version is better. Graphics don't mean anything, unless your one of those little children who grew up playing Halo and Final Fantasy XXV (Laughs). AND you get BOTH games on the GBA version (2 for 1), where as the PSP ones are separate. PSP RPGs phail, and phail terribly. Except for the LoH series, but FFI&II for PSP? N thanks. Although the graphics do look nice, its completely unessesary. Maybe if they think about giving Maria some boobs, it'd look a little more realistic, but hey, why would you want to make anything on the PSP look good?
Edit: Actually, the LoH series do have WAAAAY better graphics then this! And they are both pretty much the same length, except LoH I'd say, actually has more depth and takes longer to complete so I'd say that theres no reason the graphics, which are the ONLY reason this game is being remade AGAIN, should be subpar. If you look at it really, the only thing SLIGHTLY upgraded are the battle sprites. The feild sprites don't look anything different from the GBA version. Compare this to some SS of an LoH game, and you'll see the major difference.

This begs the question, does this game deserve £40 even though most of us probably have about 4 different copies of the game on different platforms?

To me it looks the same as how it did in the original, but you gotta admit that there is something that looks better. The reason why I say the same is because of the graphics and such. Though I doubt they would want to make it all 3D and take sometime in doing so.
