Credits to Six for the creepy banner. Thanks. I now have regular nightmares.

It's October! Halloween is upon us!

This means it's time to figuratively sit as a group in front of a fire and tell ghost stories. Now is your chance to use that noggin of yours constructively for once to come up with a harrowing Halloween horror tale to simply spook the soul out of your worst enemy here on FFF.

Rules

  • Your short horror story must have either a Final Fantasy theme, or something pertaining to Final Fantasy Forums (meaning you can involve other members as characters if you so wish). If you're feeling ambitious, you can combine both together. For instance, you can recite the tale of how Dionysos encounters the shock of his life when a possessed Ultros attempts to worm his rotting tentacles through the slumbering victim's bedroom window!
  • The word limit is 1,500 words, so keep your tales relatively concise! No novels, please!
  • Submit your entries either by private message here on FFF to @Linnaete OR by private message on Discord. My screen name on Discord is also Linnaete and I may or may not currently have a Piplup avatar from Pokemon.
  • No hard time limit or due date yet. Let's go with October 26th as the working deadline for entries. That's a Saturday!

Submissions will be uploaded in a separate thread once I figure out when this event can actually end after the 26th. Or maybe it will never end? Maybe from this point forth, we are all doomed to have to submit horror stories on a near-regular basis, otherwise we individually wake up in the middle of the night to a haggard figure tapping on our bedroom window...

New deadline: 31st October

This means by the end of the 31st.

If you're currently still writing or in the process of mulling over ideas in your head, I highly recommend you make strides towards putting pen to paper (or preferably fingers to a keyboard) very soon!

Should have something submitted before the end of tomorrow (the 31st)... Sorry it's so late. It's mostly finished now, I've just been a combanation of busy & then lazy this month.
