Help FF7 Limit Break Glitch

Ok, I found out that a glitch for the final limit breaks of people can not work unless you have unlocked every last limit break possible...

eg:

Cloud

Level 1

Braver
Cross-slash

etc has 2 except for certain characters.

so if you kill a certain amount of enemies before using the limit break a certain amount of time you get level 2 and so forth leaving the sencond level 1 locked and cant be used.

They said this glitch happens coz you cant unlock the other in that level due to not using the limit break enough before killing the certain amount of enemies...

but what my solution is to that is you actually can unlock it...

All you gotta do is goto menu and limit of person who has the levels but not stage 2 of the levels and press "set" and set the limit break to the first level "braver" use it which from what i hear its 8 times and boom you unlock second stage... repeat to the others until you have them all then try out getting level 4 to work...

unlocking second stage is best to do it as soon as you notice you didnt get it if it says you unlocked the next level.

Now if thats so easy then its not a glitch after all... your not gonna always be able to get limit break up before the amount of kills...

But if anybody has this issue and this issue is still ongoing please do try this. Unfortunatly i cannot test this as I am at the beginning of the game and realized i had to stages to one level but didnt unlock it. I set my braver on and i could use it when i got limit... i got it 3 times more to add to the rest of the times i used it before getting level 2 to make 8 and boom... i now have cross-slash for cloud... now i can set level 2 back and hope later i can unlock the 4th.

thanks please comment on this if you feel the need. I would like to be sure of not only my theory but if i have any chance of working around it if mine is not the answer. id prefer not to restart...

Er, so what you've just described here is the normal process for getting limit breaks.

I'm not sure how exactly this is a glitch. I thought it was a well-known fact that you can get your first Level 2 limit break without earning the second Level 1 limit break. The methods for learning the second limit break is different than the method for learning the first one.

Also, I'll move this to the help booth as it seems more appropriate for that area.

Well yes, you get level 2 limits without getting the second level 1 break. I have on my solo file, finishing touch but no cross slash, its not a glitch, just a different style.
