Must be something wrong with your disc. Check your disc and look for any deep scratches, then reply with what you found.
FFX is quite a cheap game to buy now, so if it is the disc, you could always buy the game again. I mean, there are ways of fixing scratches on discs, I reccomend looking into how to do that if you don't want to buy the game again, but i'd personally go for the easier option of just buying a new disc.
