Help FF10

I have 2 ps2 @ 2 FF10 disks. When it get to the scene where I have to kick the Blitz ball like his father it locks up and can't go any further in game. Any suggestions. dsr106

Is the disc scratched or dirty by any chance? If not, it could be a problem with the PS2 then. You'll need to see if your other games work fine on it to actually assess this.
