FF V XIII for 360?

I read that FF XIII was announced to be released for the 360, so I was wondering if Versus will be released for it as well.

Has anyone heard anything about it?

I know people have heard that is was PS3 exclusive, but so was FF XIII until recently.

Could FF V XIII be on 360?
 
I very much doubt it, Nomura's already stated that Versus will definitely remain exclusive to PS3 whereas there was always speculation over whether FFXIII would go multiplatform or not. And even if it were to become multiplatform, which I highly doubt, it'll probably be out 1 year - 1½ years after the PS3 version at earliest.

Either way it's still set to remain exclusive. :monster:
 
I wonder how much Micro$oft will pay to Nomura to get that to happen.

Nomura had better do the right thing and say no. The 360 has its own bunch of RPGs like Star Ocean IV, Infinite Undiscovery and Lost Odyssey.
 
sadly,no, ff versus xii will be a ps3 exclusive being that ff xii was a ps3 exclusive in japan,i guess there way of making ps3 owners feel special,i kinda do,but,hopefully they will decide to port it on the 360<who knows

Probably not anything since Nomura is "just" an illustrator and game director who has little to no say about what goes multiplatform and what doesn't.

If Final Fantasy XIII does well on the Xbox 360, then I am confident that Versus will be ported eventually. It's all about the $$$ afterall. In the western markets the PS3 and Xbox 360 have similar sale figures, so it shouldn't be too hard to imagine a situation where the Xbox 360 version of the game sold as well (or perhaps even better) than the PS3 version. And if that was to be the case, it would be foolish not to release Vs. on the Xbox 360.
 
Well I do not really care if it does not go on 360 because I own both so if its exclusive for ps3 then ps3 it is. After all there is a possibility of making Versus Xiii on the 360 but thats only if Versus Xiii gets really good sales over here. Im very anxious to play this game because I never play my ps3 and Xiii is good on 360. So there can be a chance of Multi platforming if many fans want it on 360 or like what the previous posters said it will not. Either way it does not matter to me.
 
In all honesty, XIII versus going on the 360 seems to be a design disaster for me. I mean, imagine the green and white 360 logo garbage all over the XIII versus cover? :P Seems a little crazy. Though it would prevent me from having to buy a PS3 so I could play it.

I do seem confident that Square'll get XIII on both platforms though. But Versus seems like it should be an exclusive. It's too badass for the 360 XD
 
If it's Microsoft we're on about, nothing can stop them from trying to invest Versus XIII for the 360. If that happens, it will be the death warrant for Sony. The only worse possible thing left they can possibly lose is MGS. Or GOW3.

I hope Versus XIII will have a huge amount of storage data only Blu-Ray can handle- if it's for the 360, how many disks will that take up?

Nomura wouldn't sell his soul to Micro$oft, wouldn't he?
 
While we are on the question of FF V XIII going multiplatform, why can't it go on the Wii? Since my parents bought the thing for us only a few of the non-Nintendo mainstream games have not treated it as untouchable. I just really do not want to be punished because one system was better suited toward the majority of my family (three very young siblings, and Rock Band is pretty fulfilling for my oldest younger brother and I) than the other two.
 
I presume it would have to come down to the system itself and it's limitations. Graphics wise the Wii wouldn't be able to handle FFXIII as the Wii seems to have been made for family type games/multiplayers more than the more serious games. The second thing would have to be the HDD, from what I've heard the demo alone when installed on the PS3 HDD was 5GB and I don't think the Wii could handle something that size.

There's probably a lot more reasons but those two were the first that came to me.
 
I hope it becomes a 360 game because it sounds AMAZING and I'm really excited about it but I don't want to buy a PS3
