Sorry if there is already a topic about this, but I'm too lazy to look.

I love the X-2 intro theme "Eternity". That is my all-time favourite FF theme. (Why couldn't the rest of X-2 have been like that? T_T). I love Kuja's multiple themes, but particularly the one where he leaves Burmecia.

I personally thought Sephiroth's theme was ... meh. It's what I like to call "cliché music". The two I mentioned above are so simple and elegant, yet "One Winged Angel" tried too hard to be epic and complex - or at least the orchestrated version did to me.
 
ive got 3:

1. Aeris' Theme - so beautiful - a piece of music that has made so many gamers cry.

2. Sephiroths theme - do i need a reason? it just pwns.

3.J-E-N-O-V-A - like sephiroths theme it too pwns - the black mage version of it sounds awesome.
 
I've only really fully played IX and X-2 so choosing from them, I love "Eternity" aswell. I also like the music played when the "Invincible" first appeared, and as you said , when Kuja left Burmecia.

In Advent Children I particularly liked "One-Winged-Angel" near the end.
 
Final Fantasy X on all accounts. ok, maybe not quite in terms of Character Themes (FFVI owns in that category), but in simple soundtrack songs and the FMV music with cut-scenes, FFX takes the cake. So many great songs, from teh Hymn of The Fayth, Otherworld, and Setuki Da Ne (or however you spell it).

lol,i have always liked the end battle theme...for i think all of them...it isnt featured as much in final fantasy 12 because of the new battle system,but i still like it


and also on the GBA,final fantasy dawn of souls...while on the main menu,the music there is quite nice,especially the bits in the background,and also best using headphones
