Favorite Thief?

Who is your favorite final fantasy thief? And by this I mean character that is supposed to be a thief not simply because you can make them one.

I'd have to go with Locke. I just loved him and he was such great character in VI.

Yuffie comes in a VERY close second. In fact, I had a lot of trouble choosing between the two. But Locke wins because Yuffie is more of a ninja and she doesn't do much thieving after the materia incident unless you equip steal materia. (Why do they need materia to tell them to steal?)

I like Zidane because you can steal some really nifty stuff with him and he kidnapped a princess from her obese mother

Zidane because it's him being a thief which gets him pulled into the story of him and the party having to save the world before Kuja goes completelyape-shit and leave no stone un-turned.

Locke would get my second vote because of his story with Rachel and how he's using his theif abilites in the WoR to find something to bring Rachel back to life.

I would have to say Rikku. I like her because she is always perky and cheerful. Plus I like the way she uses her overdrive.

Kinda hard decision....Edge is great...but Zidane was loveable...............but I'll be different and go with Edge.

Zidane - i prefer the warrior class as my main character
Edge - Never played FFIV so i cant pass judgement

So i gotta go with yuffie

I would have to pick Zidane for my favorite thief, even if I don't like how he looks like, I enjoyed his part in FF9. Also, I loved his personality and how he acts around cute girls and such. Though I didn't enjoy much of his stats or skills.

I had to vote for Yuffie not only is she a ninja but she's a theif as well. Not only does she steal your materia but is you answer her questions wrong then she'll also steal some of your money. And after seeing FF-AC it became known that Yuffie also stole the parties materia again.

Rikku is the most ingenious thief...I love her overdrive.

I wonder if Fran and Balthier count? Since they're sky pirates and all and get the Steal ability pretty quickly. They're probably considered and Archer and a Gunner (respectively), but it seems to me they could be classed as Thieves as well. I believe

Even if they are Zidane is awesome to bits. The monkey tail is the coolest thing since sliced bread and he's just....awesomeness XD Zidane will probably always be my favorite.
