What's your favorite tv channel(s) and why?

The question kind of popped into my head when I was watching tv and posting on the forums at the same time, hahaha.

Here's my list of favorite tv channels:

Food Network
SyFy
Cartoon Network
Nickle....o..deeeee...uuuun........ I can't ever spell this right m(_ _)m

Food Network is my absolute fav because of the interesting foods they show you how to make. Not only that, but they also have those cake decorating challenges that kind of leaves you sitting there, mouth agape, wondering how it all happened in the end. Another favorite show I have there is Unwrapped (*　。*＼）I'm always interested in how food is made and packaged in factories, hahaha. My tv's always turned onto food network >< even when I sleep... it actually helps me to sleep, hahaha. (＿ ＿；)

 
Dave, Sky1, E4 and G.O.L.D are the only ones I watch often, really. And even then it's only for a handful of shows (Top Gear, Scrubs, The Simpsons, Only Fools, QI etc.) I don't really watch as much TV as I used to, there's never much good on.
 
Comedy Central, Sky 1 and E4 for me.

Comedy Central has a lot of my favourite programs on it, Sex And The City, South Park, Scrubs, The Sarah Silverman Show, Grumpy Old Men / Women. It's what I normally watch on an evening / have on as background noise.

Sky One is where I go for my dose of the Simpsons and Futurama. It doesn't have much else going for it, but those two shows make it a frequently used channel. xD

E4 has a lot of really great shows on, Desperate Housewives, Sex And The City, Ugly Betty, Scrubs, Friends...so it's great for comedy too.

Oh, and FX is pretty good too, I suppose. Family Guy and American Dad ftw!

Well, I live in Canada so the channels are kinda different for me.
I really don't watch that much t.v. but when i do it's usually discovery channel, comedy central or spike, because that's where mythbusters and csi are.
 
Sky sports and Sky Sports News i watch the most
It use to be sky1 when Smackdown was on there those were the days!
i love BBC and ITV when the world cup is on
 
my favorite channels are espn because i like watching sports, disney channel- i actually like watching those disney show, cartoon network- like watching those anime they show on it, cbs- for their reality tv show, and tnt during basketball season for basketball
