Favorite Refrences in FF games to other Media?

Okay, we all know FF games reference the crap load out of each other, but they also reference other media such as books, movies and other games. What are some of everyone's favorites.

I ask this because I am playing V and there is a talking turtle, I think his name is Guido or something like that and he stuns Exdeath.

Exdeath "not bad for a reptile"
Guido "what do you think ive been doing, eating pizza for seven centuries"

a lovely reference to TMNT, and thats the only one I can think of right now

i like the biggs and wedge reference to star wars. that was cool. and all of FFXII felt like star wars for some reason...

I took a picture on this forum a while ago of FF1 where you see Links grave as in Link from the Zelda series.

I don't like Zelda, but it was a good find.

Excalibur from the king auther, Camelot story. There are a lot of side things that appear in the ff stories. Someone found that when Cloud is in the hospital in mideel when he has mako poisoning, he mentions something about Xenogears.

The 'My Bloody Valentine - Loveless' poster at the start of FFVII, referencing the great band and their album Loveless.

"Damnit Jim, I'm a doctor not a miracle worker" - a character in Lindblum in FFIX, not so subtle reference to Star Trek.
