Favorite Method of Transportation on all FF series

I want to know this because since I played for first time FF I have loved airships and I have curiosity about it but then I played FFIV (my favorite game btw) and I watched the Lunar Whale, and loved it since. Now The Lunar Whale is my favorite FF method of transportation. What's Yours?

The Airship Invincible from FF3. It had a free bed, item shops, could jump over mountains, AND had a fat chocobo. And even more awesome was that it would help you fight random encounters when you flew it.
 
I liked the Highwind in FFVII. Most notably it had the free rest and made levelling up easier. (Saves the time of running into towns to the inns and paying. I'm very cheap. :P)
 
I say airships in general, just not the one from X.
It's basically like a floating city where you can explore from one room to the next, so I've liked that aspect of the game.

Besides those things can go almost anywhere.:)
 
Airship by far, but only if it's on a worldmap setting like everything FFIX and before.

However, I think it was FFIX or FFVII, but the Gold Chocobo's in one of those games I think was faster traveling than the airships. So Gold Chocobo's aren't all that bad either as long as they can go almost anywhere.
 
i think it will ultimately be the airships from IX down as they gave freedom and as i always say i love exploring things its great
