Favorite Main Character

Who is your favorite main character from the games?

Mine has always been Cecil. I really liked his development through out the game. I liked how he went against the king and defied his orders because he didn't feel right about what he was asked to do. And Paladin's rock!

Ok never played II or III, and they're not as popular as the rest of the series. But if you like those main characters the best please say so. And I can only have 10 choices so those two got cut. And I'm pretty sure the main character from XII is Vaan.

Ive gotta go with cloud, after all he is the most talked about, debated, and loved FF main character - plus we're allowed to shape him how we wish - whether he loves Aeris or tifa - whether hes kind or hard, *sigh* you just gotta love that...

And i heard that in XII although you walk around as Vaan, Ashe is the main character.....but seeing as we havn't gotten XII in the UK then i have no real idea......

I had to say squall, He's the main character i could relate to the most, and 8 is the only ff I've beaten

ZIDANE! He's the man, no way else to put it. I just love how a simple little attempted kidnapping leads into possible world destruction and him finding out who he is. Plus, him and the princess in the end: Lovely.

I like Cloud because i just really enjoyed him and the game the most. I thought his omnislash was simply amazing

Just started playing III tonight. I'm only aboutj 19 minutes into the game but right now it looks like the main character is Luneth?

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind for next time. Although, we can only have 10 choices and there is 12 soon to be thirteen games. I guess it will have to be divided up into Old school (VI and under) and new school (VII and up). Or we could just knock VI and I out since there is no main character.

Favorite main characters, hmm?
It's a close call between Zidane and Cloud.

Cloud's story is like assphat amazing. There's nothing about it that I don't absolutely love. Cloud was always the man in charge of the party.

Zidane though...his character is so upbeat. He's always full of ideas, always sure of himself, he's great with women, and he's always ahead of the situation at hand.
My vote goes to Zidane.

Zidane and Cecil are my favorites.......but if I had to pick one...I guess I'd pick Zidane. I'm in a Zidane mood today xD

Squall is a bit of a love him or hate him character (a bit like FFVIII in general), and I fall firmly on the 'like' side. As daft as it may sound, he's the character I most associate with and I like his largely taciturn nature. Though Zidane I would rate 2nd and he's the complete opposite to Squall, so god knows how my brain works with these things... XD

Bartz. For the majority of the game he doesn't even know that he's following in his father's footsteps but he does it anyway, although at the beginning he just followed Lenna cos he had a crush on her. Plus as the poll says, he ends up with three girls. Stud!

Zidane would come a very close second. It's the common story of the lower-than-dirt thief who ends up with a princess. He's a role model for guys everywhere. If he can do it, so can the rest of us. And he's a huge flirt, like me
