So whats your favorite Job class? I quite before they implanted jobs such as Blue Mage, Dancer, Corsair and all that so I don't have much to go on with those.

But back in the day when the game first started my favorite job was my far Dragoon. Before they nerfed Sam as a subjob a Dragoon could spam its weapon skill over and over. With Penta Thrust you got back 100tp again so it was pretty much unstoppable coupled with the fact that you can shed hate as well. But after they nerfed that I had to move on to other jobs.

In the end I think I found my favorite job to be Nin. I just felt like I mastered that right away because my Rng had always attracted hate and I knew how to blink tank well. I could go entire parties without getting hit once. Was always fun to be depended on.

Blue mage. Blue Mage. Blue Mage.
=D Best job in my opinion.. loved the chance to be able to heal myself aswell as do some good damage as a Tarutaru.
With my large MP pool it makes being Blue Mage easy but atm, getting my AF seems hard nothing beats Blue mage AF. >_<
 
Best class ever... rdm. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves and only wish they had convert, refresh, and fast cast ;p.

I prefer BLU. RDM is used by EVERYONE now, and most peolple who use it suck at it.
I hate RDM/NIN, though, most awful thing ever. It's pure exploitation.
 
RDM has ALWAYS been an over used job, from day one. But I'd wouldn't exactly say that RDM/NIN is exploitation. Any good Nin can solo just as well, if not better then RDM/NIN. RDM just never got nerfed like most the exploited jobs, IE DRG, RNG, BLM. Bleeh...the main thing I wanted to add slipped my mind. Guess I'll come back later with it.
 
i tried leveling RDM but i got bored of it. At first a mix class seems cool, but its too much to do. Theres no way i could afford a bee spatha, all the spells and scale mail by level 15
 
RDM was my first job to 75, followed by Dragoon,Puppetmaster, then Corsair

Redmage is a great job, but I honestly hate playing it now. Nothing wrong with it, just tired of it.

I like Dragoon because I can hold my own as far as dmg, but unlike most DD I can also solo really well or mainheal in the right party setup.

After all the time it took getting dragoon to 75 I found I liked jobs that people dont often play. I like suprising people with what I'm able to do.

so then there was PUP, I started it about an hour after ToAU launched and never looked back. I love how complex it is, You not only have to gear yourself but your Puppet too. Just the way of playing the job was and still is very original.
Usually you played a DD you could play them all, but PUP is different.

I found PUP had a much much worse time getting groups or acceptance than my Dragoon did, but I enjoy opening peoples eyes so it was all fun to me!

Then COR, also played by few people. The main reason being the cost. I had to lvl one week and farm the next pretty much all the way to 75. COR is fun though, and powerful. I like the gamble everytime you buff the PT, its fun!

Puppetmaster is my favorite by far though.

PUP>DRG>COR>>>>>RDM>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> everything else

i prefer RDM mainly so i can heal myself and deal damage with spells. so far i only die when i am stupid enough to attack something above my level
