Now I'm not that much of a sci fi fan but I do love this.

The story if you must know follows John Cricton, an astrunaut (what ever I don't care if it's spelt wrong), who is sent through a worm hole too a distant part of the universe. Where he meets a living ship known as a leviathan and a crew of escaped prisoners. He is then hunted across space by a 'peace keeper' who believes John killed his brother.

Only four seaons of this classic show, plus a 2 part mini series.

I think this is a classic show ... even though I'm not a huge sci fi fan. One of the reasons I love this show is the fact that it stars my favourite actor and actress. Ben Browder and Claudia Black (also on stargate another sci fi that I like).

Probably the best sci-fi show ever created along with Firefly, intelligent, well written and with a great cast of actors. It was must watch TV for me back in the day before it was cancelled.

Only issue I had was in the later seasons where it tried to be too smart and really just became hard to watch in some episodes but I'd recommend it to anyone. Been meaning to buy the DVD boxsets at some point but they're usually pretty expensive.

Intelligent? hell yeah it is, such as actually having a reason why all the different species can talk to each other, through the translator microbes.

I think probably on of the best written episodes was the first in season four. John had gone slightly crazy but had begun to work out worm holes. Plus he's on an old leviathan and he taught a DRD to play that song. Hell ya classic ep, I think it's called 'Cricton Kicks'

Another ep I loved was call 'crackers don't matter' I think. Classic ep where the crew turn on each other and then at the end they dress up cricton and he looks hell funny.

It was a must watch for me as well, but it was on so late here. Too bad it was cancelled. But then again we did get that awsome two part miniseries thing, classic. Returns the show to the greatness of the good eps of seaon four, and most of the eps from seasons 1 and 2, (season 3 wasn't good).

Great cast - i think I allready gave my vies on this earlier.
I've never seen Firefly.

it has been many years since i have watched this show but when i did watch it i rather enjoyed it as the storyline was good and the characters were well thought, also i am a bit of a Sci-Fi geek as i watch stargate SG-1, stargate Atlantis, firefl, most of the star-trek's,and the movie Serenity (witch is just a movie of firefly)
