False nails

I used to love fake nails until recently.

I had them topped up every second week about three years ago until finally I realised what a waste it all was.

I had them done in May this year for a few events I was attending and oh my god, I absolutely hated them! They were nothing like I remembered.

They were a nuisance when trying to type at work and I'm a Data Controller, so it was a constent annoyance 8 hours a day! And they got caught and pulled on my real nails underneath.

They hurt when I wasn't even doing anything. >.<

Such a waste of money too. $60 to get them done and then $30 every two weeks to get them topped up.

The amount of teen mums I see walking around bare-foot where I work, (who always seem to have their nails done) is just insane!!!

The two main things that women waste their money on in my area are = their fake nails and their pink dyed hair.
 
I got mine done alot recently, bought a DIY kit for about £7 and they didn't last long, and then spent £31 to get them done in a nail salon for a party, only to have to spend ages sorting them out for work now :(
