Dude, I want Fallout 3 so badly. Brought to us by the people responsible for Oblivion, Fallout 3 pretty much looks like Oblivion... but with a world that endured a nuclear war and established an underground society. Instead of using medieval weaponry and magic spells, it looks like your arsenal will be composed of heavy firearms. A first-person rpg with guns.

From what I've seen so far, the graphics are nothing short of amazing. Oblivion looked great. This game looks far better. Anyone else interested in it?

But anyhoo, this game does look indeed lushy. However Im 50/50 with this. I may wait for awhile as im grabbing Fable 2 at end of the month.

I thought so too. Looked for it, but couldn't find the evasive stinker.

Honestly, I'll probably wait a bit to grab this one as well. With Fable 2 and Gears of War 2 releasing within weeks of each other, I won't need much else to keep me occupied. Once they're outta the way, I think Fallout 3 will be a nice way to kill some time.

Though I heard it's releasing October 7th. Might be tempting to pick it up. I dunno...we'll see.
 
I am highly looking forward to this. IMO it is the only good game left for the year to look forward to. But I'll be playing it on the PS3 instead of the 360.

Skepticism. Lack of free time currently. Other, more interesting games taking priority (matter of preference). Flat out lack of interest.

Only one of those applies to me personally.

Indeed, same here. Last Remnant is coming out end of November and thats a defo for me as it looks amazing. Im glad all these games are being released, but dammit I cant afford them all.
 
Right here goes, is anybody looking forwar to Fallout 3 it seems to me like it's gonna be awesome it reminds me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R and Elder Scrolls Oblivion combined which in my eyes will be awesome.

So just post away and i'll be looking forward to seeing your opinions about the game.

And for ya'll who have never heard of it, it's worth a look ;)
 
Yeah, I've been looking forward to this game. If it's anything like Oblivion, then it's sure to be awesome.
 
I've never played any of the previous games but I am looking forward to this mostly because many people have compared it to Oblivion with guns. Can't wait for it to come out really. One of the few PS3 games that are coming out for the rest of this year that I'll be looking into.
 
I'm really looking forward to playing this game, especially since Bethesda (the creators of The Elder Scrolls series) is behind this game. Back in Oblivion and Morrowind I liked the whole open world that was featured and, by what I heard, that open world-thing had been added into Fallout, so I'm kinda looking forward to that.

Never played the previous Fallout games though, not that it matters:P
 
Same here i haven't played previous Fallout's but this one looks awesome, apparently the venture area is 16 miles squared which seems pretty big to me.

I hope it doesn't let me down i'm quitting work just to play it. :/

Indeed, I havent played any of the previous games either. But I love the look of this one. You have a dog with you aswell, which reminds me of Fable 2.
 
Ive heard good things about this game. I dont think you need to play the previous Fallouts to enjoy this game. I played Oblivion without really playing morrowind but still loved it.
 
I can't wait for this. Oblivion was one of the best games I've ever played and the similarities drawn between the two games is exciting. Unfortunately my PS3 is dead so I will have to wait for a replacement before playing it.
 
I hope they come out with a walkthrough guide thing that has every side quest on there. I missed out on the Oblivion one so I dont know what the other quests are like. (I cant be bothered finding out as my character wasnt really dsesigned to be a mage)
 
The guide for Fallout 3 has already been released. I'm torn between getting it or not. I had a lot more fun with oblivion finding things out on my own. Plus I'm not much of a guide person. If I ever need to find something I can just look it up online for free.
 
I don't think anyone who has posted has played the previous fallout games :P

But yeah it does look an awesome game and i also particularly like the dog, something different to other games. Lets hope Bethesda have made it as good, if not better than, Oblivion, which was in every right epic.
