Expansions...

I have been eyeing this game for a while, and have finally decided that I must buy it, but I have a quick question before I make my purchase: do the "expansion" games for the PS2 include the previous game within?
(If I was to buy Aht Urhgan, would I be able to visit the areas in Chains of Promathia or the Rise of Zilart?)
Sorry if this should be obvious... I couldn't find a clear answer.

for the PS2 version no.
It comes with the original game + Rise of the Zilart, then you'd also need Chains of Promathia and Treasures of Aht Urghan expansions. Theres rumored to be a new all in one pack coming out with the new expansion Wings of the Goddess though.
but you'll most likely need:
Original game (with RotZ included)
Chains of Promathia
Treasures of Aht Urghan.

The expansions will not be more than $20 each though, probably much less for CoP
