Excalibur II

I've gotten it straight. I got to Memoria with I think 20 mins to spare. It's a good sword, but in all reality, you can do 9999 dmg just as easy at a high level with the Ragnarok. As for the clock re-starting, it only happened to me when I played FF9 on my PS2, it never happened on my PSX. And no, it didn't let me get Excalibur 2 when the clock re-started.

UCHGgggggggggg
once again...no action replay here. =[

What does action replay have to do with getting Excallibur?? o_0

Oh riiight right.
Btw...FFIX is the only one that doesnt have a debug room, am I right?

I would get the sword personally. Its a powerful weapon, right? and if you get it that early in the game, it could make a diffrence in some battles, or make leveling easier. Who knows till you've done it?

It's not really early in the game considering that memoria is the last place in the game, but it could help out with sidequests.

hmmm i never been in debug menu for ff9
ff7 debug one was wierd
ff8 was random
ffX was cool ^_^

There is a 12-hour Excalibur II walkthrough floating around the net, a few of them probably, that if any of you wanted to try, you could no doubt easily access. I know numerous Japanese film's have come up on YouTube or jsut general webhosted video's of some Japanese people getting it jsut under 12 hours. They don't film the whole 12 hours, but just the part where they open teh treasure chest and then flip to the menu to show you their record time.

=O
I've never been in FFX's debug room!
What's it got?!

hmm just teleport to places and stuff its the only one that you choose in a menu

Wow. ^_^
PS2's gameshark is differnt from the PS1 though...I'm still not too sure how to use it. o_O

eah its got tons of preloaded game , it allowes you to play dvds from any region, it has game saves on it , it also has the ability to play mp3 songs on your ps2 (i dont why though)

See, I think you Britties have a better system than we do.
This is the gameshark 2:

It's just a CD that's loaded with codes.
You pop it in, select the codes you want, then take it out and insert the game that you want to play.
Kind of lame. =\

So is it the same thing, or is it some kind of weird device? o_O
