But is it really a problem with IE if the problem only occurs for me on FFF?
how many sites have you tried it on anyways? there probably a trillion sites on the internet 0.o
Why dont you just get firefox, it will only take 5 minutes, and you wont regret it

I finally discovered what the problem, or rather, Darkblade did: The Shoutbox. So as long as the shoutbox is here, I'll be running a little slower, but at least I know what's wrong now.

Sure, there's "trillions" of sites on the internet, but surely if it was to happen regularly, it would happen on most of the sites I visit, right?

If anyone else would like to shed some more light on this issue, please PM me. Otherwise, I can now close this thread ... again. Thanks for your help everyone :D

I should have mentioned this before but all I can say is, it's the shoutbox that is currently causing this issue to ALL the IE browsers out there. Don't ask me why or how because I have no idea. But I know one thing that I've been using the shoutbox for a very long time since the very first launch FFF so yeah. I believe the shoutbox was coded badly and is unsafe to run on huge sites like FFF but we'll have to make our chances until the chat room is finally up and running once again.

The best solution is to grab and download Firefox since it's much better than IE. We know how great IE can be but that doesn't mean it'll be the greatest browser there ever was and it seems to me like many people are refusing to swap browsers for several reasons but whatever their reason could be, I highly recommend you to switch to FF and that's it! :P
