equiping weapons to summons

how do i put a weapon on a fummon. please tell me because imy ifrit hardly does any damage.

You can't equip weapons to summons.

then where can i learn speells or make him stronger he misses most of the time and i've made his attack go up to 45. i also don't know any spells which i really want to learn

You can learn spells further on in the game. If I am correct, there are some spells in the area "Cadoen". Also, you can't equip items to your summon.
