Serious Entry level Jobs

Do you have any advice for me concerning my lack of job experience? I had never been to a job before and I don’t know of any entry level jobs especially since I am not all that familiar with terms such as Sales Associate or District Manager. I could go to places like Monster.com or Careerbuilder but I like I said before I don’t have any background knowledge on the job positions they display, even on websites like Walgreens, Wal Mart, McDonalds or Target I am not all that familiar with job positionsthat they offer. What should I do? I don’t know of any entry level jobs and I need some money to pay off some debts that I have. I know cannot deal with them in one sitting but still I need a job as well as a second income to help me pay things off. I heard blogging could be a great second income but even that I need readers to read it, do you have any advice for me concerning entry level jobs and second incomes?

I would just go to some local stores that you are interested in working at, and ask if they are accepting applications. If so, kindly request one, then take it home and fill it out. The key is to translate your skills into marketable ones. If you have any sort of web programming or website design proficiency, put it on the app. If you have ever been the leader of ANYTHING, be it an athletic team, or just a club, put it on the app. Anything that you have done, so long as it is remotely relevant, and is not a bald faced lie, put on the app. Hope that this helped

There are two great jobs that are usually always hiring in one station or another. Fire Fighter and Police Officer. Neither of them require experience seein as both send you to a sort of basic training(do not worry nothin like the military just standard info on the job some physical stuff mainly push ups and running and their own fitness test) Can usually either go to the city you live in website to download an app or head to the stations themselves and just ask questions talk to the big wigs(fire chief/police chief). Also security at airports is a booming job. Since it is technically a federal position got great benefits and even then can move up the ladder and get into the 3 figures pay. Also just straight up regular security firms and even club security. Usually go to the club have a beer or two and just talk to a few employees maybe get some suspicions arroused get talkin to a manager and what not see what's goin down. Hoped this helped. I'm 19 and my experience is pretty much limited to security and mill work and most jobs that are actually hiring now is 21 and older jobs so I'm limited to some stuff so I know how tough it can be.

A good place to go is a car rental company like Budget, Avis or Hertz. I worked at Avis for a little while then at Budget for 4 years. Hertz is the best paying of the 3, you can start out making $9.25 an hour to be a Service Agent (cleaning cars). I'll admit that in the summer time, it's absolutely off the wall busy, but if you're working full time, you'll certainly be making more than a retail store or a fast food restaraunt. You can also be a driver, and all you'd do there is drive the cars from the rental lot to the parking garage (or just a parking lot in some areas). No experience needed, it's pretty much a booming business (unlike other things that are on the downfall these days) and it's very good money for entry level. What Diesel says is good too, but you'll have to jump through a lot of hoops for that, but it's more rewarding than rental cars. Any government job in general is good, but I think most states are cutting down a little, so landing a job for that may be tough.

I think you should take whatever you get. And realistically that would be a shitty job at "Walgreens, Wal Mart, McDonalds or Target." No one is going to entrust you with a big job if they don't think you can handle a customer at a store.

It doesn't matter if you're not "familiar" with the job, they teach you what to do for your position.
